This:
is the strategy that worked when we were teaching Izzy to stay off the furniture. I popped three balloons in front of the puppies (no, not RIGHT in front of the puppies, but close enough for them to learn about balloons) and now they are staying pretty close to me in the adjacent kitchen. We shall see how long this works.
Izzy used to jump up on the couch that allowed her a good view of us out the front window whenever we left her. Until we used the balloon array strategy.
As smart as these puppies are, izzy was smarter. She was also more neurotic.
