zosianicola's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- misc update Tuesday we went to SA to show my condo to Bill, my father-in-law and my bro-in-law. Also, bro-in-law had never been to SA so we went to missions, the Riverwalk, and I showed my campus to all 3 of the guys. we had enough bedding for everyone, and even though one of the heaters was not working the place was plenty warm enough. we had lunch at Lorenzo's and there was live accordion music to entertainment, so i am newly inspired to get out the accordion and learn some simple songs. Bill met an old friend from U Chicago for lunch. Bill went back to MA today and bro-in-law went back to MI. we drove to IAH to deliver them to airliners. We also went to REI to spend gift cards (success) and the scuba store to look for fins and vests (failure). Lunch in Houston was as always, a treat. Mydog thinks he is master of the universe but whenever he stops long enough to think about it his shoulder hurts enough for him to hold that leg up off the floor. His fentanyl patch is gone now, maybe the pain is re-emerging from that blessed fentanyl fog. I am not quite sure why Gerry Ford couldn't take a stand versus Rummy, Bushy, and Cheney while he was alive. He didn't want them to know he didn't like them any more?
